GiveGenius is an enhanced donation solution that brings all giving methods together on one simple, user-friendly platform. It provides your donors with more ways to give—and gives your team the visibility and flexibility to grow. By making giving easier and more accessible, you can focus more on what truly matters: your mission. Below is your quick start guide to getting set up and ready to receive donations.
Platform Set-Up (Back-End Configuration)
Set Up Your Charity Profile Complete your contact info, upload your logo, write a brief description, and link your social channels.
Invite Team Members Grant platform access to relevant team members and assign permissions as needed.
Configure Direct Deposit Provide banking information for weekly disbursements.
Set Up Gift Designations Create giving categories (e.g., “General Support,” “Scholarship Fund”). Pro tip: Always include a “General Support” option for flexibility.
Explore Your Dashboard Track donation activity, export data, and explore reporting tools. If using a CRM, you can export data and upload to your system for seamless donor tracking.
Install Your GiveGenius Tools
Access Your Donation Tools Under the GiveGenius tab in your dashboard, you’ll find:
Your Shareable URL: This link takes donors directly to your GiveGenius giving page. You can embed it in website buttons or use it in emails, texts, and social media. You can also generate a QR code from it for print or event use.
Your Official GiveButton: This is a customizable HTML embed code to add directly to your website. Work with your web admin to place it in visible, donor-friendly locations. If you already have donation buttons on your site, simply link them to your Shareable URL.
