Our board plays a vital role in shaping the future of generosity in Canada, and we’re always looking for thoughtful, purpose-driven leaders to help guide that vision. 👥 Our Invitation Process At GiveWise, prospective board members are typically recommended by a current board member or staff member. Once identified, a current board member or members will reach out to have an initial conversation and explore mutual fit. If aligned, the individual will be invited to formally apply using the form below. 👉 Click here to apply to the Board of Directors (this needs to be made into a Microsoft form application) The form will ask for the following: • Your contact details (name, email, city/province) • LinkedIn profile (you may upload a CV if preferred) • Statement of interest – why you’d like to serve on the board and what you bring to the role • Board or governance experience (if applicable) • Your perspective on generosity – what it means to you and why it matters • Time commitment & availability • Referral – if someone referred you, we’d love to know who! • Board composition questions – a few short questions to help us build a diverse, well-rounded board
What Happens Next: \ Your completed application will be shared with our full Board of Directors. From there, the board will collectively review your submission and determine next steps. A GiveWise representative will follow up with you after the board’s decision.
